Making money writing Private Label Rights content (offer)

Have you seen the New Year PLR offer?

If you've heard of writers creating Private Label Rights (also known as PLR) content, you may have wondered what it is.

Basically PLR content is content you write to which you surrender all rights. It's something like ghostwritten content, in which the rights devolve to your client once he's paid you.

However with PLR, you don't just sell the rights to one client, you sell the rights to many clients. Usually, you'll limit the number of "PLR copies" you sell. If buyers know that you're selling a limited number, many will just use your PLR content as-is, without changing it at all.

Ideally, once a client buys a copy of your PLR content, he won't use it as-is. He'll edit it, or rewrite it -- often hiring another writer to do that -- so that the rewritten content is different from the original PLR.

What can you offer as PLR content?

Many writers offer PLR articles, in packs of ten or 20. Others offer PLR ebooks, websites, courses... do a little research online, and you'll be amazed at how many different kinds of products are being sold as PLR.

How do you make money from PLR?

You make money by selling many copies of your PLR offerings.

On the Instant PLR Author product page I wrote:

10 articles at 400 words each = 4000 words

200 article packages sold at $20 each = $4000

How long would it take YOU to write ten 400-word articles? An afternoon? A week? If you can write ten articles a week, and sell the PLR content, you could be making $4000 a week - which is $208,000 a year.

Writing PLR packages is perfect use of your writing time. You're creating products which bring you residual income; the more PLR you create and sell, the more income you make.

If you're interested in PLR, take advantage of the current New Year PLR Offer -- it ends on January 16.
